NEGATIVE APPROACH - Self Titled 7" (Touch And Go records)
FIRST (REJECTED) TEST PRESS:
  • 5 Pressed

There were 5 original test presses made that were rejected for a bad mastering job on the vinyl. Go here for more info: Collector Scum

  • SECOND (ACCEPTED) TEST PRESS:
  • 5-10 Pressed

I have read somewhere there were 10 of these and somewhere there were 5. I'd lean more towards five based on pretty solid info that there were 5 of the rejected test presses.

  • First Press
  • 1000 pressed - Black labels on black vinyl

  • a lot of these had things written on the inside of the cover before they were hand folded and glued. Mine's pretty good...

Here's some other stuff that came with my 7"
    Second Press
  • 1000 Pressed - Red ink on white labels / Black vinyl

The second press is indicated by the different color labels.

  • OTHER INFO:
Supposedly a bunch of copies had the band named filled in with marker by the band or the label when originally sold. I've heard somewhere around 50 copies however seeing as how it's just filled in with a marker anybody could color in their 7" to the same effect. Here's an example of what a colored in one looks like.
